On Tuesday nights at 7:30pm and Wednesday nights at 6:00pm we offer ongoing beginner classes which will cover different themes and styles of yoga but always at a beginner level. You can use a regular class pass for this session and come whenever you can.

It’s also possible to attend other classes as a beginner (or to organise a private session tailored to your needs), our online booking system is set up with this emoji 🌱 for classes that are friendly for beginners. The timetable is also colour coded to help students understand how much effort (aka how sweaty!) you can expect from each class.

In addition to our regular timetable we offer a 5 Week Foundations of Yoga Course on Sunday afternoons from 4:00-5:15pm. Next course starts August 15th. Please book the next course here.

The 5-week Foundations of Yoga Course is our way of welcoming new yogis into the practice and Salt community (or as a refresher for more seasoned yogis).

This course will provide students the physiological benefits of exercise as well as tools to calm the mind, soften tension and access insight. Yoga is both a physical practice as well as a pathway to a more balanced life. Together we will explore the physical practice by breaking down fundamental yoga poses and terminology, as well as learning basic flow and breathing techniques. We will spend time each session exploring philosophy with the weaving of yogic guidance throughout our practice.

Conducted in a casual manner, questions are encouraged throughout and with time set aside at the end of the practice to converse and integrate knowledge. There will be opportunities for more engagement throughout the course with email recaps and helpful articles along the way.

This 5-week course will leave you feeling empowered to continue your yoga practice with many styles and classes available across the Salt timetable or at other studios.
