I loved the BEING Mindful 4 week meditation course I just finished during the month of May with the wonderful Katie from Salt Yoga. What I actually found was a very practical set of tools for learning how to slow down, notice my thoughts, and become a bit less caught up in constant mental noise and rumination.
The course was well structured and approachable, especially for beginners. I learnt that meditation does not have to be complicated. For me it became something very simple. Sitting quietly, breathing, and learning to notice when my mind wandered, then bringing it back again…
I’d recommend the course particularly to people who are naturally sceptical about meditation or mindfulness. You do not need to become a spiritual person to benefit from learning how to be more present and less mentally overloaded.
